Nearsoft has announced the launch of the GiroBus app in collaboration with Horários do Funchal.
"Through this project with Horários do Funchal, we have developed GiroBus as an innovative solution to make bus travel more convenient and enjoyable. We are committed to offering Horários do Funchal passengers an enhanced travel experience, providing them with quick and easy access to up-to-date information on timetables, routes and much more," said Nearsoft's CEO, Pedro Camacho.
The company stresses that the app is currently in its experimental phase. Nearsoft says that among the app's main features are route consultation, receiving personalized notifications, real-time route consultation, personalized bookmarks, trip planning and anomaly reporting.
The company adds that the app allows users to explore all Horários do Funchal routes via an interactive map.
The app also allows users to create alerts for the most frequent routes, follow the routes in real-time and find out the buses' arrival times at the stops.
Users can also add routes, stops and routes to their favourites.
The app can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store, or you can visit the Horários do Funchal website.
