Nearsoft opens new premises in Rua do Comboio
Regional technology company points to guaranteed conditions for employees as an added value when hiring. Its commitment to in-house training is seen as a way of boosting the availability of human resources that the company needs, pointing to Madeira as "the best place to make technology in Portugal".
Nearsoft, a Madeiran technology company, inaugurated its new premises on Rua do Comboio in Funchal this Wednesday, as a way of responding to the growth in its scope of action that has taken place in recent years.
Pedro Camacho, the executive director, said that they currently employed 42 people, and that new professionals would soon be hired as a way of meeting all the demands. When asked by journalists about the current lack of human resources in this area, he pointed to the quality and conditions offered as a decisive argument when it comes to attracting professionals.
Currently, around 75% of Nearsoft's turnover comes from exports, and the company's products in the areas of finance, governance and process digitalization are noteworthy. "In order to scale and continue to grow, we have to look to other markets," said Pedro Camacho.
